About the role:
As a CNC Turning Operator/CNC Setter at Brafe Engineering, you'll be an integral part of our team responsible for crafting high-quality products. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our renowned precision and quality standards are met with every project. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of high-specification castings, using advanced CNC technology to bring designs to life. You will work 37 hours a week hour (Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 16:30, Friday 08:30 - 16:00) with excellent rates of pay between £14-17 per hour depending on experience.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Masterfully interpret customer product design drawings to execute precise machining tasks.
Set up and operate CNC lathes, with occasional work on CNC borers.
Programme CNC machinery both online and offline, as required.
Work with a range of materials including Carbon steel, Stainless Steels, Stellite, Inconel, and Super Duplex.
Ensure all finished products meet stringent high-standard tolerances.
