We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a multi-talented team of CAD Designers and Toolmakers within a business that specialise in new injection mould tool manufacture, tooling repairs and modifications.
This business offers extensive investment in their employees career paths, including funded NVQ qualifications to assist with progression, if that is of interest to the employee.
As a CNC Machinist, your duties will include -
Producing precision components from drawings using CNC machines
Program, set and operate CNC machines
Clean and maintain CNC machinery and all associated equipment and working area
Liaising with the Toolroom Manager to plan and prioritise the workload around the companies needs and requirements
We are keen to hear from any applicants with -
A mechanical engineering qualification, CNC apprenticeship or equivalent
Experience in CNC machining (Hurco)
Experience in offline programming Gibbs CAM, Feature CAM, Peps Solidcut, Charmilles
Exposure to programming software
Exposure to CAD and 3D modelling (Hypermill Visi, NCG Cam, Machining Strategist) would be advantageous Featurecam - basic 3d modelling
An ability to read and understand to drawings and models in both 2D and 3D
On offer for the successful CNC Machinist -
A salary £38K - 45K depending on experience (Trainee applicants are welcomed)
08:00-17:00 Mon to Thursday and 08:00-14:30 Fridays
Quarterly Profit Bonus Scheme (£300-£500 per quarter easily achievable)
Overtime is paid at x1.5
