Client Accountant, Hybrid, Milton Keynes, £30,000 to £35,000
My Client an award winning service charge team is one of the UK's largest residential service charge accounting firms. Their values and strong collaborative culture is at the forefront of everything they do.
The role of the Client Accountant will have varied disciplines for a variety of clients including preparing high quality service charge accounts in accordance with best practice.
Responsibilities

• Varied disciplines for a variety of clients including preparing high quality service charge accounts in accordance with best practice
• Undertaking the planning and execution of ISA800 audit assignments and Factual Findings Reports
• Coaching and assisting the more junior team members in order to meet the client's needs Involvement with practice and workflow management for the wider team
• Aiding in the overall delivery of exceptional client service to our wide variety of market leading clients.
• Reading and interpreting leases as an additional dimension to the standard accounts preparation

Requirements

• AAT qualified or part ACCA/ ACA qualified
• A solid background and exposure to accounting and/or double entry book keeping
• Ideally have experience of working within an accountancy practice
• Have ability and confidence to deal with complex sets of accounts, with a high level of
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - written and verbal
• Be able to confidently work alone but also be a team player
• Organised and methodical approach to handling workload of both self and others
• Be proficient in main line MS Office products, with in depth experience and knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of service charge accounting would be an advantage

Other Details
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Required working hours: Monday - Friday (2 days WFH), 9am to 5pm however operating hours are 7am to 7pm therefore there is flexibility
