Sapien Engineering are looking for a Chief Systems Engineer to join an Aerospace business on a contract basis.

This is an initial 6 months with the possibility of extension and supports hybrid working from client site in the Bedfordshire area.

This role is outside IR35 and paying circa £500 per day.

Job requirements:

* Proven experience with large scale aerospace/space projects

* Engineering principles – Mechanical, Electronics or Software

* Systems and Sub-systems architecture

* Previous experience with SpaceX, NASA or ESA projects highly beneficial

* Sub-system integration
