The Holburne Cafe is looking for a chef to join the team. The right candidate will be efficient, hard-working and a fast learner. As a part time member of the team you'll be assisting the kitchen staff with prep and cleanliness throughout the week.
You'll be responsible for preparing sandwiches, soups and salads for the cafe counter each day, as well as preparing pastries and cakes each morning and throughout the day. There is room to progress here and scope for input into menu development.
The hours of work are between 8am-4pm with evenings free and two set days off a week. Development work at site means that we are operating from a temporary field kitchen over the next few months, as such there will be reduced service from the kitchen and the work will be more prep-focused.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
