Role CAD Operator role
Location Based close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours Monday to Friday Full time hours
Salary £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
Capacity of role Permanent position

Our client is a local manufacturer who is looking to expand their workforce with the addition of CAD Operators
Applicants will have previous working experience with 2D/3D Practices,
Main duties will include
? Compiling 2D CAD CAM Drawings based on customer blueprints or from existing data
? Nesting of parts for Laser cutting and manufacturing
? Prepare necessary machine programs and drawings for manufacturing
Maintaining stock and material records
Support workshop/sales staff with technical information

Candidate attributes -
Previous CAD drawing/draughting experience (preferably with knowledge of either Solidworks or AutoCAD)
Able to read and understand engineering drawings, with knowledge of dimensions and tolerances
Previous experience within engineering / manufacturing role
Excellent attention to detail
Good telephone manner and happy to liaise with customers via phone and/or email
