An IT Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst is required for a specialty insurance organisation undergoing a generational transformation particularly in its approach to strategic service management across the business.

This role offers you the chance to conduct high-level business and systems analysis, drive innovative solutions, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure transformational IT projects align with business objectives. You'll be at the forefront of transforming processes, championing new ideas, and making a significant impact the company's success.

The Role:

As part of this transformation, you will be assisting the organisation in analysing and implementing improvements to the ITIL Service Management process, Enhancements on ServiceNow, automated service processes to improve the service offering globally. A good approach to change and experience within dynamic organisations will be essential to analyse problems and make real changes. You will be required to operate independently and will feel comfortable in presenting ideas. The current organisational changes are taking place over a 3 year period and you will be joining at the beginning of this transformation. Ideally you will have some experience on Service Management tools like ServiceNow and will be familiar ITIL.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Advanced Business Analysis: Perform detailed analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement across various IT projects.
• Ensure Strategic Alignment: Align IT initiatives with the company's overall IT strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as the main liaison between business and technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and meet expectations.
• Support Acceptance Testing: Assist in defining and executing acceptance tests for new business processes and IT systems to ensure successful implementation.

This position will allow you to take true autonomy in developing ideas and driving change within the context of an organisational transformation. While the industry is financial services, you can come from any domain provided you can clearly outline where you have provided impact to the business.
