Area to be covered: Yorkshire OR Midlands OR South East (territory will be determined on location
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + 1 of all sales uncapped commission & full benefits package (no company car)
The role of the Business Development Manager – Furniture Solutions will involve:
* Field sales position selling the design and delivery of furniture solutions
* Majority of your time will be spent generating specifications & managing project through with architects, specifiers and small to medium contractors
* Will be an element on sales / dealing with local authorities, multi academy trusts and direct with the education sector
* Problem solving, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers’ needs
* Targeted to achieve circa £850k - £1m
* Typical projects would include schools, healthcare and associated industries
* Inheriting a specification project bank of circa £2.5m
The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Furniture Solutions with:
* Ideally come from a furniture or interior fit-out background however would be open in terms of products sold
* Must have sold to either architects & specifiers OR small to medium contractors, local authorities and multi academy trusts
* CAD experience would be advantageous however not essential
* Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects / problem solving attitude
* Good time management skills, focused and customer service orientated
