Business Analytics Manager - Life Science

Location: Primarily office basedwith a hybrid working model (min.3 days p/w in the office)

My client is aTechnology Transfer Office (TTO) located inManchester that works closely with academics and student inventors to identifyinnovative opportunities with a view to creatingsocial, economic &environmental impact. These opportunities are then developed into commercially valuable Intellectual Property licenses, or spin out businesses.
My client is currently seekinga Business Analytics Manager thatpossesses a Life Science background to work within the Business Analytics Team whilstreporting directly into the Head of Business Analytics.
The main responsibilitiesof the Business Analytics Manager (Life Science) roleare:
To communicate with inventors the analysis and decisions made within the TTOsurrounding the invention and/orinnovators.
Assess/recordopportunities that havecommercial potential.
To work in collaboration with the wider team & other business units.
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess the followingskills, experience and qualifications:
Scientific experience in the field of Life Sciences as wellexperience in an innovative/commercial environment is essential.
Remain abreast onnew Life Sciences developments &market trends.
Analytically minded, with the ability tothink broadly about commercial impact that impacts decision making.
Delivery inline withcompany objectives and performance targets.
Collaborative skills relating toinventors, colleagues andexternal stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ableness to work to strict timelines.
Higher degree in a Life Sciences related subject is essential.
