A progressive secondary school in Abingdon is seeking a Biology ECT to join its thriving Science department from September 2025.

As a Biology ECT, you’ll:

Teach general Science at KS3 and specialise in Biology at KS4

Plan practical and inquiry-led lessons aligned with the national curriculum
*
Support students through exam preparation and coursework
*
Participate in whole-school STEM initiatives and cross-curricular work
ECT support includes:

CPD aligned to both pedagogy and subject knowledge

What we’re looking for:

QTS (or expected July 2025)

A degree in Biology or Life Sciences

Strong interest in environmental or medical science a bonus
