Your new role
Looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineer (Data Modeller) with robust data modelling experience who has worked within high performance development teams at Asset /Wealth Fianncial Management organisations.
You will be defining and developing target financial index data conceptual and logical data models collaborating with tech, business and strategy teams.
You shall create, maintain, and socialise physical data models to enable the development of physical data stores.
Creating and supporting the creation of interface / data product logical models.
Working with the AWS toolset (e.g. s3 and glue) and implementing Amazon architected frameworks, serverless solutions as well as improving existing platforms with AWS technologies in Agile delivery methods.What you'll need to succeed
You have extensive hands on expertise working as a Data Engineer within Wealth/ Asset management organisations delivering strategic data solutions in financial/ reference data (e.g. equities, debt instruments etc.)
Vastly experienced with data modelling work a track record of producing high level conceptual and logical data models with a strong understanding of data model interaction with metamodels/ metadata for data platforms.
Fantastic experience with programming in Python.
Vast experience working with AWS data solutions e.g. Glue and s3.
Solid grasp of data Governance / data Management concepts, including metadata management, master data management and data quality.
Track record with optimization of high-performance data pipelines.
Familiar with DevOps practises as well as container technologies.What you'll get in return
