This role is for an Avionics-focused Aircraft Technician responsible for handling aircraft maintenance tasks, including both scheduled and unscheduled work, to meet customer needs and Part 145 requirements. You'll work across avionics and airframe areas to ensure smooth operations with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
ONLY WORKING 9 MONTHS A YEAR!
Hours of Work (Seasonal Shift): Monday-Thursday 07:00 - 18:15. Friday 07:00 - 14:30
Attendance hours from 1 September to 31 May (+10 days refresher training in August)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on avionics systems.
- Adhere to safety and company procedures, using calibrated tools and equipment.
- Support and mentor team members, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
What We're Looking For:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance within a Part 145 organization.
- Qualifications in Maths and English or an equivalent in Aviation or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong skills in reading wiring diagrams and using specialized manuals.
