Associate Pensions Consultant Salary - DOELocations- UK wideHybrid
IDEX Consulting is looking for part-qualified and qualified pensions actuaries to join our clients growing team. You could be based in any the following UK offices (Birmingham, Bristol, Epsom, Farnborough, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, St. Albans), with a mix of home and office working.A competitive total rewards package is on offer, providing you with full support in development and a work life balance.
Key RequirementsMaintaining and building strong relationships with clients and other parts of the businessDeveloping client action plans and ensuring timely and efficient project management of theseUsing knowledge of pension practices to help design and implement efficient processes including taking ownership to improve parts of standard processesTaking ownership of data issues including advising on appropriate formatting and transfer of data between partiesUsing technical knowledge to carry out client specific calculationsProducing and delivering clear and accurate internal and client correspondence, reports, papers, presentations etc.
DesirablePart-qualified making good progress through actuarial exams or a qualified ActuaryA strong mathematical background with the ability to explain technical solutions in a clear wayRelevant pensions experience and industry knowledgeA 2:1 or above degree in a numerate or semi-numerate subjectAbility to deliver effective client service to multiple clients and a track record in relationship management
