My client is an Accountancy practice specialising in helping owner-managed businesses achieve their goals.
Job roles and responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Production of limited company year-end accounts to trial balance stage.
Production of draft corporate tax returns.
Preparation and review of Self-Assessment tax returns, including income from property, investments, employment, and sole trades.Monitoring and assisting with junior members of staff.
Preparation and review of client VAT returns. Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding compliance issues and tax enquiries.
What we're looking for:
3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
AAT Qualified (Preferred)
Experience with Xero (Preferred)
Experienced in preparation of micro-entity and small company accounts
Experience of dealing directly with clients (Telephone, email and in person)
37.5 hours p/week - 9-5 Monday - Friday.
20 days holiday + bank holidays Plus, birthday off each year
Additional days' holiday for each year of service (capped at 5)
