Job description

Progress Teachers are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join our dedicated team in fantastic Secondary School in Nottingham . This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to nurturing artistic expression and creativity among students.



Key Responsibilities:



Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver inspiring and engaging art lessons, fostering a supportive environment that encourages students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills.



Practical Skills Development: Provide hands-on instruction in various art techniques, mediums, and processes, ensuring students have the opportunity to experiment and express themselves artistically.



Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the art curriculum, incorporating a diverse range of artistic styles, cultural influences, and contemporary practices.



Assessment and Feedback: Assess student work regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development and growth.



Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages collaboration and respect for diverse artistic perspectives.



Extra-Curricular Involvement: Encourage student participation in art-related extra-curricular activities, exhibitions, and competitions.



Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.

Teaching qualification (QTLS) and relevant teaching experience.

DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in various art forms.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for fostering creativity and a love for the arts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm



Pay: �25,000.00-�43,000.00 per year
