• Paying circa £40,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Job Role Details:

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

• Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and servicing of machinery, adhering to high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Respond to in-field breakdowns, minimising downtime for farm operations.
• Implement and oversee a robust 3-monthly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all assets.
• Manage reactive maintenance tasks with speed, safety, and cost-effectiveness in mind.
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records to ensure compliance and continuity.
• Promote a safe and tidy work environment, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to Health and Safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively within the workshop team while taking initiative when needed.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery or similar equipment.
• Strong general maintenance skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A clean and valid driving licence.
• Hydraulics experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Training or certification in abrasive wheels.
• Electrical experience or qualifications.
• A formal mechanical engineering qualification.
