Our client, a nationally recognised specialist in Cancer Care, is seeking an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse for a community-based position in the London area. This temporary role offers the opportunity to provide vital oncology treatments in patients' homes, ensuring they receive the best care possible.
Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £42 - £48, based on experience, while working as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse. Benefit from mileage expenses and a Monday to Friday schedule, with no bank holiday work required. This role offers a flexible contract lasting a minimum of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will:

  • Visit patients in their homes to administer treatments such as IV and oral chemotherapy.
  • \n
  • Conduct blood tests and toxicity assessments.
  • \n
  • Perform pump disconnections and provide line care.
  • \n
  • Administer IM/SC injections.
  • \n
  • Work 30 – 37.5 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days.

Package and Benefits:

  • An hourly rate of £42 - £48, depending on experience.

  • A work schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 8 hours per day.

To be considered for the Agency Chemotherapy Nurse position, candidates must have:

  • An active NMC Pin and be a Registered RGN.
  • \n
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy.
  • \n
  • Skills in cannulation and venepuncture.
  • \n
  • A valid driving licence.
  • \n
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification.
  • \n
