This role involves collaborating with the University's Centre for Apprenticeships to design a robust undergraduate degree programme that aligns with the apprenticeship standard ST1341 for Social Researchers.As the Academic Consultant - Social Research you will be responsible for:Programme Design: Lead the design of a 360-credit undergraduate degree in Applied Social Research.Standards Compliance: Ensure the programme content and structure meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard ST1341.Documentation: Develop the programme specification and detailed course descriptors.Quality Assurance: Engage in validation and quality assurance events, integrating feedback into the final programme design.To be successful in the role you will have:Academic Qualifications: Must hold a PhD in Social Policy, Social Research, or a closely related field.Teaching Experience: Must have prior teaching experience in social research at the university level, demonstrating a deep understanding of both academic and applied aspects of the field.
