1:1 Teaching Assistant Brent September Start Long-Term Position
Q: Are you a bright 1 st Class/ 2:1 Psychology Graduate?
Q: Do you have an in-depth understanding of SEN (Special Educational Needs), particularly Autism?
Q: Are you eager to gain significant, hands-on experience supporting children with SEN?
Clarus Education are working in partnership with the Headteacher of a wonderful 2-form entry primary school located in Brent. A number of students with SEN have been identified as learners who require additional support in and out of the classroom this September and therefore 1:1 Teaching Assistants are needed!
This is a fantastic school, with a track-record of developing their staff into exceptional practitioners through bespoke CPD and training. If you are a hardworking, independent and dedicated graduate with a real passion and interest in SEN, then this 1:1 Teaching Assistant role could be the job for you..!
Role:
Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN
Autism focus Moderate to Severe needs
Working across Early Years & Key Stage 1
Organise & run interventions
Work closely alongside the SENCO
September 2024-July 2025
Full time during term time only
£85-100 per day + healthcare package
Person:
2:1 or above at degree level
A*-C at GCSE & A-Level, incl. English, Maths & Science
Your SEN knowledge will need to be of a high standard
You must be hardworking, proactive & resilient
Able to hit the ground running & give the role your all!
Able to commit to the entire academic year
Shortlisted graduates will be contacted within 24 hours.
The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
