I am an enthusiastic individual with the ability to communicate with members of the public and health care providers, demonstrated in my experience working from my recent employment as an adult social care obtained qualifications through training and college, attending courses by my employers, this has included my Care Certificate, ESOL, GCSE's in Maths and English and a just concluded Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service for Health and Social Care Settings etc. This has developed my ability to be responsible for own development identifying training needs, set personal objectives and attend appropriate training to carry out specific duties. I am able to work effectively under direct supervision, as part of the multi-disciplinary team, because my role includes communicating with a wide range of professionals from different settings, these include District nurses, Doctors, Pharmacist and health support workers. My responsibilities in my current role include assisting staff such as nurses and district or residential nurses to feed the elderly, as well as assisting with administering medication, meeting nutritional and personal hygiene needs. I maintained accurate timely records through documenting in both the daily logbook and mart chart, following care plans routinely, whilst always maintaining patient's privacy and dignity and provide care in a compassionate and sensitive manner. I am also able to communicate with members of the public which include visitors and family of the service users, as well as also reported accidents to the manager and family members through keeping accurate timely records, keeping notes and incidents reports, providing care with compassion, dignity, respect, confidentiality, patience, empathy is the most important skills, first as a person and as a carer. Before my care experience I have also developed the ability to coordinate a team, working as a secretary and receptionist. My duties included managing expectations and checking everything was ok between my team and using active listening skills to communicate effectively during the board of trustees meetings. I developed good customer relationships and addressed clients need. I also managed purchasing inventory and maintained this and other operational functions. I developed strategies for better workplace efficiency. With my current care experience and my qualification, I believe I would make an excellent candidate for this role.
