Professional with 12 years' product and vaccine research experience, including over 3 years in industry as a Technical Vaccine R&D Project Manager (Development Manager) within Benchmark Animal Health Ltd. (BAHL). Responsible for assigned projects, I lead the interaction with internal and external stakeholders under a matrix management system to oversee the development of vaccines from POC through to commercialisation. In 2018 I assumed the management of several projects associated with BAHL's Mediterranean vaccine portfolio, resulting in the successful registration of the Company's first vaccine for aquaculture. With respects to research, I engage with internal and external researchers, both within industry and academia, to investigate the use of novel vaccines and delivery platforms. I have also acted as the industrial sponsor for research grant applications which may be of commercial relevance. More recently, I ran a project to help manage and facilitate the production, testing and QP batch release of vaccines for commercial sales. As part of a new and exciting pharmaceutical company, I have been exposed to all aspects of the business and used this as an opportunity to significantly expand my skill set and expertise.
