Over the past 20 months I have been working in an environment where jobs are to be completed to a strict timeline to minimise the missing of mobilisation dates of equipment. In addition I have also been involved in the maintenance, installation demobilisation of various pieces of equipment offshore. Within my current role I have gained experience in offshore operations, how thermal units operate as well as additional experience in complex hydraulic circuits and mechanical works. In addition I have enhanced and broadened my knowledge through working on vacuum systems and fluid movement equipment. Furthermore, I have 7 years experience working in a fast paced job where down time was minimal and repairs are completed in a professional, timely and safe manner. I also have experience working on a rotating shift pattern which has given me experience of both lone and team working, a skill which I have carried forward into my current job role. My work experiences have allowed me to progress within maintenance engineering through work based learning and a variety of training courses however I believe the advertised position will allow me to enhance and develop my knowledge and skills further through a variety of new experiences.
