Nursing is a highly demanding career but it also is quite rewarding and it gives a real sense of job satisfaction with it. l enjoy caring for and working with people. Having attained a Degree in Business Administration and not able to secure a good job, I then turned to working as a Care Assistant. Working with elderly people taught me to find positive value in life and to give generously of myself. I have also learned to stay calm and reassuring in emergency situations. My passion for caring for other people was also increased when I became a parent. I strongly feel that my skill sets have been enhanced. These include good listener, effective communication skills, compasionate which have sustained and helped in my current job, as well as being able to make decisions when working in a team.
