I am an experienced secretary / administrator with many years expertise as Senior administrator / PA at team and director level in both the public and private sectors. I have worked within public sector for a number of years; most recently for Nottinghamshire County Council and East Midlands Ambulance Service on temporary assignments after working for Nottingham City Council for almost 7 years. As Business Support / PA I have worked in a number of disciplines within the council and private sector. As training administrator / co-ordinator rolling out the new council wide social care information system; I was responsible for communicating between the various stakeholders and co-ordinating the efforts of my colleagues with setting up training and administering the courses. My skills also include extensive use of both audio and copy. As Business Support Officer / PA in various roles, ranging from working directly at CEO / CFO level and to team level I have covered many disciplines which includes adult and children social care, public health, schools and training. The roles have always been very busy requiring flexibility and strong administration skills as the demands of the departments were very diverse. This also required good communication and tact whilst working with highly confidential material. I am very professional whilst maintaining a friendly, helpful attitude. I have a proactive approach together with flexibility and initiative. I am professional in both how I present myself and how I communicate, well spoken with a sense of humour and I am always keen to take on new challenges. After having worked for a number of years full time I am looking to work less hours (although I am flexible) whilst still being able to contribute to an employer my knowledge and skills and continue to maintain the high standards I have always attained to. I have an excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and experience of providing a comprehensive administration services and delivery of customer care along with good interpersonal skills.
