(~GBP 80,000+ package inc. 3 Rtn flights, transport, accommodation) Construction of 8KM's of dual carriageway `intersection' for Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority. Client/ Consultant/ Contractor relationship's inclusive were intriguing, though good old fashioned `hard work', due diligence & getting daily/ weekly/ monthly results would always prove to be the best approach.

Senior Project Manager, Gulf Construction 2012 - 2012

Jagal Group

Started as PM and soon after moved to SPM role on Snake Island/ Lagos/ Nigeria. GULF exclusively carried out all new construction/ renovation and facilities maintenance work for NIGERDOCK, including, though not limited to, infrastructural development; accommodation; welfare & office space.

(~GBP 75,000+. Package inc. Uplifts, 4 Rtn. Flights etc.) CPHCON & C.A.D.G. PM on KAF (flight-line) Thales project. As sub-contractors, our remit consisted of executing all civil construction/enabling works and assisted with the logistics for other `non-resident' contractors. Technically, a reasonably straight forward job, practically (day to day), quite the opposite. KAF is currently the `busiest single' runway in the world. (Reference attached). April '10, moved to Camp Bastion/ Helmand with Central Asia Development Group employed as engineering co-ordinator and assisted on a number of contracts within Bastion & Leatherneck.

Providing technical support to the Base Engineer on KAF (Kandahar Air Field) Afghanistan for a variety of tasks/ contracts. Responsible for managing a design/ project management office overseeing all NATO facilities/ assets within a challenging environment.

Client: Coalition Armed Forces GBP 100m military contract in Basra, Iraq. The construction of 8×'blast proof' D-FAC's (large reinforced concrete structures). Operating within military protocol, and under stressful conditions, ones intuitive ability to get constructive results was regularly hindered.

Gained business skills and considerable experience in marketing and sales, as well as company administration procedures including cash flow forecasts, setting & monitoring targets.

Client: Isle of Man Government, Dept. of Transport & Irish Rail. GBP 5.5m extension to Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man. A challenging two-storey extension, with considerable political interest and a very good Brands/Design team. Administering, Programming, Co-ordinating & delivering the contract to completion. GBP 2.4m new-build DART station in Dublin on existing rail tracks included excessive working hours, specialist plant & equipment, stringent H&S issues, bureaucratic design team & of course trade unions.

my role was to co-ordinate a large labour force working with a specialist formwork system on a large high-rise apartment development. (Mivan forced to pull out due to down turn in Far East economy.)

Client: `various commercial clients' First supervisory role: overseeing trades, ordering materials/ programming/ setting out/ record keeping etc. Sites included a new structural steel & pre-cast concrete football stadium/ GBP 11 extension to a Pharmaceutical's plant with specialist services/ 6-storey office development. Emphasis was on fast track construction approach.

On the TOOLS! Mostly working to sub-contractors on a diverse range of contracts covering every aspect of the trade from 1st/2nd fix; roofing; shuttering; workshop etc. Working mostly in Northern Ireland, but also Isle Of Man, Berlin and Brussels.
