Working towards BSc child nursing. This involves a mix of both theory and practical learning between the university of ###### and several NHS settings to help reinforce knowledge learnt in lectures allowing hands on skills to be learnt properly and safely. While in practice I work as part of a multidisciplinary team where excellent communication skills are constantly in use both verbally and non-verbally.

Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care Technical Level 3. This involves voluntary placement in Aintree university hospital where I gain experience caring and helping individuals. As well as days in collage where I use practical experience to aid me with my coursework.

Voluntary Experience

2017 – 2019

Aintree University Hospital voluntary work on hospital wards which involves patient care, specialing patients, taking patients to the toilet, comforting patients and families, keeping patients company as well as transporting patients to and from various procedures within the hospital.

2014 and 2017

Two missionary trips to Romania in which I had to fundraise for my own tickets to Romania as well as for resources for the villagers who we went over to help and bring aid to. Whilst in Romania I had to prepare my own lessons to give and to deliver along with a translator whilst teaching groups of 10-15 children with ages ranging from 7-13.

2014 – 2017

Sea Cadets member I learnt many new skills with cadets such as catering, stewarding, first aid and water sports. I also gained and had the ability to improve skills such as leadership and team work skills which I had the ability to work on whilst taking the lead in groups and being a part of a team in cadets. I also completed my Duke of Edinburgh bronze and silver with sea cadets which involved the need for team work and problem solving skills at multiple times throughout the expedition.

About Me

I am a motivated, bubbly and hardworking student who has gained and improved upon a lot of skills throughout my life experiences. These skills include: communication, abilities to work well under pressure, time management, organisation, independent work, teamwork, quick learning as well as improving on my creative abilities.
