Manor Renewable Energy, Working as part of the service team at the RWE Rampion Offshore Wind farm off the South Coast of England, out of Newhaven harbour servicing V112 Vestas Wind Turbines. Day to day duties include.

* Travel to turbine via CTV ensuring hse is maintained at all times and following the RAMS when gaining access onto the turbines offshore.
* Rigging loads from ctv and lifting onto transition piece using the Palfinger davit crane.
* Performing annual servicing & Maintenance, carrying out system checks and upgrades on the offshore turbines.
* Deep cleaning of WTG after servicing.
* General preventive maintenance .
* Replacement of damaged components .
* Performing confined space work within bottom section of turbine within the transition piece, using relevant documentation such as limited work permits. Use of gas detection units and adhering to HSE policy's to ensure safe working practices.

Time served mechanical fitter with over 7 years experience across the military, automotive and hgv sectors having moved into the renewable energy industry 2 years ago. Experience working across different countries and challenging environments.
