Due to the current economic situation, I was made redundant in July 2020.
Delivering a high standard of service to customers regarding their energy tariffs and Home Service Contracts. Treating each customer individually and listening to establish their individual requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Answering inbound calls and giving customers all the information on current energy tariffs so that they are able to make an informed choice when changing their tariffs. Changing tariffs as discussed with customer.
* Treating all customer details with confidentiality and ensuring that all customer data was updated as necessary.
* Entering meter readings, explaining bills and rebilling with correct meter readings, updating customer accounts, setting up direct debits and taking payments over the telephone. Operating multiple applications whilst dealing with customer enquiries. Adhering to strict compliance regulations.
* Giving information to new customers and discussing options for Home Service contracts so they have the all the information to decide which level of cover they require and complete the sale.
* Attending training sessions as and when new products became available and ensuring all online training was completed by the dates specified.

Due to the closure of the Post Office I was transferred to the Alyth branch of Scotmid.
Working on the shop floor where face to face interaction with customers was an important part of this position.

* Cash handling both at point of sale counter for shop and the post office counter.

* Replenishing shelves in shop and ensuring stock rotation procedures were followed.
