Acute Admissions/Assessment Ward (lockedward)
20 bedded unit within a new build hospital as a member of staff it is a requirement to be flexible and able to move to work within other wards providing care to patients with an addiction, rehabilitation, dementia and care of the elderly.
The hospital have there own Occupational Therapist unit for all patients a physiotherapist and a gym. There is also a Tribunal Areaand ECT Suite.
The ward normally would have a Deputy Charge Nurse however when required senior nurses will be in charge.

Providing care to patients with Acute or ongoing Mental illness/Disorders
Safe administration of medication
Person Centred approach to delivery of Care
Providing respect/diversity to patients and their family/carers
