    With my methodical approach I assisted tradesmen and the general public with the supply of plumbing merchandise. Responsible for the procurement of commercial and domestic parts for the breakdown of gas and oil boilers. As a supervisor I was responsible for stock control, cash handling, branch Health & Safety (staff and customers), liaising with company sales reps and keeping up to date with new plumbing parts and technology.


    1991 - 2005

    Driver (Formerly Price & Hughes), Belfast ------- Responsible for assembling and delivering plumbing materials throughout Northern Ireland. As the lorry driver I was responsible for loading/unloading cargo, adhering to traffic laws, vehicle inspection and all documentation for delivered goods. Good time management skills were required along with navigation and a strong driving record.


    Warehouse Operative

    1987 - 1990

    Responsible for assembling orders of plumbing goods for customers. Also responsible for warehouse stock control, the use of warehouse handling equipment, warehouse system software and loading delivery vehicles. Good organisational skills and accurately was required to ensure the required items were dispatched quickly and correctly.

    Personal Statement

    Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the subsequent economic downturn I have unfortunately faced company redundancy and now in the position to seek new employment.  I would describe myself as being an enthusiastic, dedicated and adaptable person without any breaks in my career history.  I am able to use my own initiative and work as part of a team under pressure to meet challenging deadlines and objectives.
