I cater for 3 different areas within the company, I ensure that the workshop staff have everything they need from welding equipment & consumables to paint brushes and PPE. Duties: Loading animal feed onto Lorries, pushing up material in order to maximize storage space. I was also very active on the weighbridge which entailed booking in and checking out Lorries. Keeping track of materials being extracted from vessels ie weight of each load, tallies of material coming out of each hatch, and ensuring each load was stored in the appropriate bay.
I would formulate daily/weekly reports and send them onto the necessary departments

Duites: I worked on 2 different sites; in the first site I work in a Maturation Hall where I would operate a Volvo Shovel. I would load a screener with recycled material which would then produce compost and waste, . I would then transfer both to their designated areas while ensuring all material was pushed up and stored accordingly. At the end of my shift I would complete housekeeping duties, cleaning of machines and administration requirements.
On site 2 I worked in a Transfer Shed, this involved the storage and transfer of household, green and brown waste. I directed the flow of Lorries to ensure speedy dumping of waste in the required location. I use the Shovel to push the waste up to allow for the reception of further waste and to prevent contamination by keeping the materials separate. Throughout the day I load 40 foot Lorries and tippers with the required waste for transport using the digger to push down the load to enable more tonnage to be loaded. I carry out all housekeeping duties as well as maintaining the vehicles checking and replenishing the grease, transmission oil, Hydraulic oil, engine oil and water. I also monitor and replace any faulty hoses when required.

Duties: I work as part of a team for a charity; I call to prearranged appointments with the public who wish to donate furniture. I examine each item to determine if it is possible to resell in the hospice shops. I transport donated stock to the desired shop, value it and when it is sold delivery to the customer.
Since August 2015 I have been covering shop managers on an average of 2 days per week. As well as key holder duties and start of day and end of day procedures I maintain the shop floor, delegate duties to volunteers. When donated stock (Clothing) comes in I sort out which clothing is to be ragged, prepared for resale and which items must be put away for a different season. I also price and display the items.

Letterbox Marketing Duties: I was responsible for running the warehouse and 41 people (6 team leaders and 35 postal operative). I would ensure stock was received, recorded and stored. I would then assign daily workloads to 6 distribution teams, each team contained 1 team leader and 5 postal operatives. I would then check returned leaflets, maps and examine each team performances for the day.

When leaflets were no longer needed I would arrange collections for recycling. I oversaw a fleet of 6 vans and 1 car ensuring that all repairs and maintenance were carried out. As part of my duties I recruited postal operatives, mainly Slovakian nationals, housed them in one of the companies 4 houses and assigned them a distribution team. I dealt with all disciplinary issues and constantly reviewed performances to ensure to get the best out of the teams.
I oversaw a contract for Helped The Aged, I would coordinate delivery of bags to households throughout Northern Ireland. On the stated day I would go collect the donated clothing which was left at each donors door. I would bring the clothing back to our warehouse where I would prepare them for distribution to different Help The Aged shops.
In January 2010 Letterbox Marketing Ireland went into liquidation with all of the work force being made redundant.
