I started my career in banking before moving into the motor industry. I progressed into various roles with a vehicle manufacturer, all of which were field-based with a company car and the requirement to cover large areas. I left after 24 years’ service due to restructuring within the organisation and subsequent redundancy. Last year I became a Driver/Guide with a large Tour Operator, taking minibuses on tour and dealing directly with customers. Every role I have held has been customer focussed, and required the ability to communicate, persuade, influence and to lead. My latest role has also required the ability to entertain.
