Nightshift Supervisor

Running a team of twenty contractors/permanent staff, both mechanics and licenced engineers. Involved in all aspects of scheduled maintenance from A to C check level on both Flybe fleet of Embraer 175/195 and Q400, also third-party aircraft. Regularly covering AOG hangar inputs. Typical tasks include critical path functions and inspections, defect diagnosis, supervision of mechanics work on aircraft systems or structural repairs, also maintaining high standards of work within the team and their safety. Responsible for contact with internal and external customers to report progress outside of normal working hours and producing written reports on technical and safety matters. Engine ground run trainer for Embraer 170/190 and Q400.

Licenenced Engineer with a regional start up airline operating a small fleet of ATR 42. Inially responsible for aircraft acceptance and tooling / GSE provision. Variety of tasks covered on a regular basis as a line engineer including defect diagnosis / rectification and as customer rep on maintenance inputs.

Licenced Engineer/Shift Supervisor

Licenced engineer /shift supervisor for a British Airways franchise operating a two- type fleet of ATR 42/72 and Avro RJ aircraft. Covering all aspects of line maintenance up to A check, inspection, defect diagnosis and rectification, AOG recovery and routine scheduled servicing. Duties also included manpower allocation and liaison with other departments and third parties to ensure a seamless service delivery. At peak of fleet, dealing with close to ninety movements in a day through the station, with up to ten night stopping aircraft.
