for Virgin Media, my day to day roles and responsibilities include:

* Service and install trained: At the start of each working day, I get my list of faults/installs to attend, and this list must be completed on time and to the best of standard. Due to this, the quality of my work must be to the highest of standards all whilst ensuring my timing is excellent.
* Sales for residential and businesses: In an ever expanding industry growth is always
key. So due to this, in my day to day role, one of my main focuses is on sales, whether this be signing up new residential customers or business customers. New
opportunities can always arise with a simple conversation with a customer, as they are able to recommend people they know who may be interested in Virgin's services, this is why being able to interact with customers is a key aspect of my job.
* Meet KPI's: a daily basis I have 7 core KPI's I must always meet as they are key to the company to provide the most effective service possible.
* NPS: One of the key targets for me as a Virgin Media employee, was my NPS. NPS is very customer driven to ensure that the customer is always getting the best service they possibly can.
* Trainer: The most recent role of my job has included mentoring and training new members of the team. This includes showing them every aspect of the job, especially how to interact with customers and ways to always get the best resolve for a difficult situation.

As a Sales Advisor, my roles and responsibilities are to:

* Control the delivery of all incoming merchandise, ensuring all products are accounted for and the delivery recorded accordingly.
* Assist in managing the warehouse to create off shelf locations for merchandise.
* Ensuring stock rotation is carried out daily in order to make the store presentable to customers, including displays.
* Provide help and support to customers, and successfully sell merchandise in order to meet my sales targets.
* Train new members of staff, ensuring they become familiar with the systems and processes within Maplin Electronics.
* I was named Regional Employee of the month for the whole of Ireland - which I am extremely proud of.

Working with Maxol has allowed me to gain vast skills in the retail sector. As a Sales Assistant, my roles and responsibilities were to:

* Provide an effective customer service in all aspects of the job, which also includes operating tills and the credit card payment system.
* Provide assistance to both customers and staff when complications may arise.
* Ensure the shop floor is safe and secure at all times for both staff and customers to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
* Carry out stock rotation on a daily basis to adhere to company rules.
* On occasion, oversee the weekly promotion change over in a supervisory role, which may from time to time, also include the supervision of staff on the shop floor.
* Manage all incoming deliveries to ensure all merchandise received corresponds with the relevant purchase orders.
* Oversee cash lodgements from staff tills while maintaining an efficient payment record system.
