Key Lime Coffee Current.
I have had many responsibilities including; dealing with the public; for example, taking orders, serving food, dealing with concerns or complaints and taking phone calls for bookings. I have also had experience in preparing and serving drinks and making coffees.
In key lime coffee I also occasionally helped out in the kitchen preparing and cooking food.
Money management was another aspect of hospitality that I have gained lots of experience in; as I have processed bills for customers, organised distribution of tips and at the end of the night I counted the money that is in the till and put it safely in the office. Through this experience I have learned how to use 2 different types of tills and a chip and pin machine.
I was also in charge of locking up at night and I often opened up in the morning and managed the restaurant on my own for several hours. Opening and locking up involved ensuring that everything that needed to be done was done for example, turning all of the appliances and lights on/ off, double checking stock levels and doing a general tidy.
Throughout the many years that I have worked in hospitality, I have developed lots of skills that I will be able to transfer to future roles, for example;
* Teamwork and communication skills; as I have worked in teams with up to 10 people, and in order to work effectively and efficiently I had to communicate with my team members.
* The ability to work under pressure; as working in hospitality often means a high paced environment, I have grown to be able to work under pressure, and learnt to prioritise what needs to be done first.
* Money management skills; I have gained lots of experience dealing with money such as bills, change and vouchers.
* Time management; I have also learned to manage my time more effectively as I plan to leave for work a while before to ensure that I am always there on time.

PERSONAL PROFILE
I am a responsible and keen person, who would like to continue learning about the different opportunities in the world of work and gain experience for future jobs and applications
Throughout School I was recognised for my hard work and dedication. I was awarded with a chance to represent the School Football team which we went onto win the School B League. I was part of a team who planned a school trip to Manchester and was responsible for the finances of all pupils travelling.
Outside of work and school I enjoy playing football and have found success with the different teams I have played for by winning the ####### League with Hillsborough Boys Football Club. I have also managed to achieve many individual awards such as Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year at Hillsborough Boys Football Club and ####### Wanderers Football Club. Through sport I have learnt how to take criticism and how to use it to my own advantage.
I am keen to continue learning and would be happy learning new skills at the same time as gaining practical experience.
