Assistant Property Executive, Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors & Estate Agents; -------
Present
Having worked for Bradley Hall Residential since April 2019, I have enhanced my organisational skills, my communication and my sales methods. I have become used to exceeding targets placed on me in terms of
both quantity of sales and fees figures. I have experience in generating a high fee income via sales of properties with values upwards of £ 500,000 and have had unrivalled success in negotiating sales, lettings and instructions to market. I am confident in terms of communicating with potential clients, and have been successful in becoming entrusted to handle what is often their largest, and most precious, asset or investment. Whilst in this position I undertook a second job as a bartender in Berwick-upon-Tweed at weekends. Although it created a tiresome schedule, this allowed to me to learn how to manage my time effectively and make sure that clients I worked for were still my priority whilst ensuring a consistent income personally. The transferrable skills gained from this job are undoubtedly useful in all aspects of sales and client based professions.
Shift Running Floor Manager
2014 -
2019
Shift Running Floor Manager, McDonald's; -------
Working for McDonald's as a Crew Member I was able to prove myself and earn promotions fairly quickly. In
2017 I was promoted to Shift Manager after being a Crew Trainer for two years. This industry is well known as a fast paced and high pressure environment while representing a global brand. I am also well versed in maintaining professional relationships with members of staff of all ages and creeds as well as training new staff, staying informed about menu items, allergens, prices and being the first point of contact for contractors, complaints, prospective employees and the office based hierarchy. These are all valuable transferrable skills that allowed me to bring the best customer service I can, I love being able to represent brands positively and enthusiastically.
Volunteer
2010 -
2014
When I was 14 I started volunteering at my local youth centre for groups of young people from the ages of
11-13. I was there to lend an ear and support to people who felt they would not be understood by teachers, guardians, parents, etc. This involved honing my empathy, patience and understanding to people from all walks of life regardless of what they were looking for. This was probably the catalyst for my realisation that customer/ client based services would be where I belong.

Skills
A work/life balance is important to me. IÕm lucky to have played badminton socially and competitively since I was 15. This has allowed me to learn how to balance my work and personal life and make time for the things that are important to me. It has also allowed me to represent my area regionally and gives a great setting to socialise. One of the key things playing sports has taught me, aside from prioritising academics, working and socialising, is communication. Knowing the next move your opponent will make and communicating with them and, at times, your game partner is extremely important in such a fast paced game. This can be taken to the workplace as it comes naturally now to work in a fast paced and expectant environment and to be able to deliver and communicate effectively with my team and those relying on me. I also spent some time tutoring pupils at my old high school and this allowed me to engage with people in a succinct and informative way that didnÕt overcomplicate the topic. This kind of skill is important and transferrable when dealing with customers, especially if they do not know much about your area and want to learn more but still feel comfortable.
