Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a QA Manger with licenced manufacturing pharmaceutical products and sterile experience to join a national pharmaceutical company near to Wembley. You will be responsible for managing quality systems, processes, and procedures to assure product safety and quality by driving business alignment to correct industry requirements and business objectives by managing quality system design, controls, and continuous improvement.

Role:

  • Lead the site and CMO in GXP compliance
  • Manage day-to-day activities of QA staff
  • To manage and approve OOS/OOT process for site
  • To review, collate data and write PQRs/SQRs for Pharmaceutical products
  • To review batches and support QP product release
  • To manage the site equipment validation and calibration annual planner
  • To manage quality systems, processes and procedures to assure product quality and safety
  • To engage strong intradepartmental and cross-functional/organizational relationships to drive Quality System Requirements (QSRs)
  • Own the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for departmental functions
  • Influence site compliance to Quality policy, Quality Management System procedures and guidelines
  • Lead in compliance to internal and external regulations
  • Lead quality system metrics such as Corrective and Preventive Action, training metrics, completion and complaint resolution metrics
  • Define and perform audit of internal systems and external suppliers and manufacturers
  • Inform appropriate internal departments on audit results and work with the necessary staff to achieve GXP compliance
  • Leading regulatory authority inspections
  • Develop and maintain GxP standard operating procedures in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Update key performance indicators/metrics in a timely manner

Person:

    • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
    • Minimum 10 yrs hands on Pharmaceutical Quality Experience preferably within Licensed Manufacturing
    • Extensive Management Experience
    • Sterile products experience
    • Experience working with the integration of new products and manufacturing processes
    • Management of up to 10 staff (not essential)

Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for an EMC Test Engineer who has experience working within a commercial EMC test Laboratory to join our team in Malvern. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in testing to EN and FCC EMC specifications.

We will also consider a recent graduate to join as a Test Technician.

The new Engineer/Technician must be proficient in several core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

  • Perform testing to procedures laid down in the procedures manual
  • Identify the need for new measurement methods where procedures do not cover the exact nature of testing being carried out
  • Maintain a technical electronic logbook
  • Record results of tests on the prescribed result sheets, to plot graphical results
  • Prepare test reports as laid down in procedure manual
  • Deal with client enquiries regarding work schedules and costing
  • Ensure that commercial confidentiality is maintained
  • Carry out any other reasonable duty as directed by the Laboratory Manager

Person:

  • Experience working within the electronics industry is essential for this role
  • EMC testing experience is significantly advantageous

Our Client, a Global - well known Chemical company are looking to appoint an experienced Fuels Chemist who will work as a vital part of the QC and QC Management team at their modern facility. The Role:

  • Running HPLC, GC and IC following methodology provided, troubleshooting issues that arise
  • Performing wet chemistry techniques, including titrations, FP, pH, KF, KV and density

  • Recording and reporting data within the quality system- completing documents and spreadsheets accurately and in full

  • Approving and rejecting raw materials

  • We are looking for candidates with really strong leadership and interpersonal skills, this role will involve communicating with senior stakeholders of the company and will involve a lot of maturity in terms of assisting with the audit process; therefore it is really important that this candidate has some experience in communicating across different platforms/ departments or a willingness to learn this.
  • We are looking for people with prior training, supervisory/coaching experience in a testing GMP accredited lab; again in an Chemical/ Fuels testing lab.

  • Stability programme, facility and test methodology move.
  • Respond to any customer technical questions regarding impact of the move on their products, product design & product safety.
  • Provide technical reports, rationales & supporting documentation as well as relocating R&D design files & records.

  • Work in line with industry standards, to site QMS, and consider customer requirements by liaising with them to facilitate any necessary change and updates on progress.
  • Propose solutions to logistical and technical problems.
  • Work closely with the existing technical team and various other teams.
  • Issuing technical report and justifications

The Person

  • A scientific degree or equivalent with a science or engineering background.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Medical Device field, or alternative regulated industry

  • Process Excellence qualification or training or even knowledge in this area (desirable)

Russell - Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a food science individual to work within a fast-paced environment on generating Customer Submission Forms and providing technical support and guidance to the NPD team. Our client is a well-established, busy, high quality food manufacturing business who are continuously investing and expanding their facilities with exciting plans for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating Customer Submission Forms.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the NPD team.

  • Gather all documentation required by the customer to help support product samples.
  • Support, identity and advise on any labelling non-conformances and brief inconsistencies.
  • Assist the process team when needed (this will include data inputting & cooking instructions)
  • and other cross-functional teams to ensure that there is a smooth handover with NPD and approval of products.
  • Approve artwork
  • Update & manage NPD product data (sample graphs) and documents.
  • Maintain awareness of legislative issues (for example EU food law) and ensure compliance with customer expectation.
  • Update the department weekly visitor & location sheets.

The Person

  • BSc Food Science degree or similar qualification/degree
  • Understanding of food safety/HACCP/ EU food law
  • HACCP & Food qualification (desirable)
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage own workload and work to deadlines.

We are currently EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our client and become their new Transport Planning Manager... joining a very busy Transport team in Flintshire. The role will be responsible for the planning and coordination of all loading and transportation activities for the Holywell site. As our successful candidate you will oversee the daily activity of the loading team which includes shift supervisors, transport loaders, end of line loaders and Transport admin personnel.


Your Key responsibilities will be:

* Efficient, cost effective and timely planning of loads to meet customer requirements
* Attendance at daily operations meeting to report on Transport activity and drive/manage meeting outputs
* Work alongside the UK & IRE Transport Manager to implement control measures, ensuring any discrepancies and customer issues are highlighted and resolved
* Liaise with third party logistic provider (POFM) to ensure service needs are met
* Absence & Performance management of direct reports - conduct return to work interviews and monitor team performance. Escalate any cases of poor attendance/performance.
* Review and update departmental SOP's
* Produce weekly & monthly KPI reports
* Yard stock management: ensure yard is well organised and controlled to minimise product damage and support accurate distribution of product to the customer
* Assist with transport load planning for UK/Western Europe where required
* Handling of general transport queries and support the transport department as required
* Investigate any product damage and late delivery issues to identify root cause
* Provide general support to the maintenance of safety, environmental and quality systems and standards on site in preparations for site audits by external bodies


Our successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

* A degree or higher education qualification in Transport/Logistics is desirable
* Previous experience of working in a Transport Administrator/Coordinator/Planning role
* Excellent interpersonal skills - engaging and have a positive 'can do attitude'
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel) and a good working knowledge of SAP
* Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to work under pressure/meet demanding deadlines
* Self-motivated and able to use own initiative to solve problems
* Previous experience of leading a team would be advantageous


Contractual Benefits

* Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm / Friday 4.00pm finish
* £32,000 - £34,000 salary
* Divisional Bonus
* 24 days plus all bank holidays
* Competitive pension contributions
