As a Customer Support Technician you will be responsible for providing support to the Operations Team and Customers across the organisation, to ensure that all equipment and machinery is functioning correctly at all times.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Support Technician:

  • Provide technical training on how to use Assured machinery safely and train subcontractors or staff on site if necessary

Team Coaching

  • Ensure that customers and staff are trained in correct use of touchscreens on site when setting up
  • Advise staff and customers of basic maintenance checks for equipment to reduce unnecessary call outs
  • Carry out observations on team members and feedback findings to Area Managers with regards to correct use of equipment

Operational

  • Maintenance and repairs of jet washes, hoovers and other Assured equipment as required
  • Ensure timely repairs and maintenance of equipment
  • Basic maintenance and repairs of motorcycles on site (training will be provided)
  • Regular PAT Testing of site equipment
  • Ensure that all company and client policies and procedures are followed
  • Pro-actively check and ensure correct use of equipment and materials to carry out job

  • Preparing and dispatching orders (equipment & Chemical product)

Administration

  • Ensure that all jobs are responded to in a timely manner

  • Record all jobs completed as per agreed procedures
  • Record mileage correctly at all times and do monthly vehicle checks

Client Relations

  • Liaise with clients to ensure correct usage and maintenance of equipment
  • Ensure that clients are trained and knowledgeable in the use of the Assured Management System
  • Appear professional and courteous to clients at all times while on site

Key Skills, Qualification and Experience required:

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Basic Rate £22.50ph (Ltd)
  • For each operational training session that you successfully complete in your 1st Season (2 days in total), you will accrue £75.00 per day, which will be paid to you as a commitment bonus in your 2nd Season. All refresher training from Season 2 onwards will be paid subject to an approved timesheet when completed. i.e., the following week.

You will not be entitled to your commitment bonus payment if:

  • You demonstrate a lack of availability for shifts when you are requested to attend.
  • You are continuously late or fail to attend a shift after you have confirmed that you will be attending, without a reasonable explanation. (You may be required to produce evidence)
  • You fail to notify us of any changes of your personal or contact details.
  • Your behaviour or conduct is below the expected standard of a professional working in an airport environment whilst representing Logic 360 Ltd and the end client.
  • You do not declare any new criminal convictions and/or driving offences, that may disqualify you from holding an airside I.D. pass or airside driving permit.
  • You do not register for payment or submit a valid invoice (Ltd Company Contractors ONLY), by the deadline given.

Training required

  • Operational training: 2 Full days required and must be available to attend mid-September to mid-October 2021
  • Security training: As part of the security pass process, you will be required to complete General Security Awareness Training. This can be completed on a computer/laptop at home in your own time.
  • You will also be required to complete Fire Safety Training on collection of your Airside Pass; this takes around 1hr
  • Medical: You will be required to attend a driver medical; this takes around 1hr
