CNC Turner

Overview:

An exceptionally busy manufacturing business is seeking an established, high end CNC Turner due to rapid growth.

Responsibilities of a CNC Turner:

• Setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Creating, loading and modifying CNC programs.
• Carrying out inspection of one’s own work and final inspection on others.
• Ensuring all parts are manufactured to drawing and specified tolerances.
• Work scheduling.
• Stock management.

Profile of the successful CNC Turner:

• This position is ideally suited to a multiskilled person, with experience of Fanuc/Siemens controls, AutoCAD, Jetcam NUM controls.
• Applicants must have a sound engineering background.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Competent in the use of measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, height gauges and micrometers.
