Apply4U Limited has created a privacy statement to express our commitment to dealing with your personal or corporate information. We have made effort to adhere and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Act. 1998

Candidates and recruiters should agree to abide by our ‘Terms and Conditions’ & read our Privacy Policy & Disclaimer.

If any candidate or recruiter is found to be breaching our terms and conditions then we will immediately terminate their use of our services.

You’re CV & Control of viewable information
Apply4U understands the importance of retaining confidentiality of your CV, profile and other information stored about you while using the site. When you create or register your CV with us, we will collect information from you, such as your name, address, phone number, DOB, email address etc.

You will be able to use our unique ‘Hide Info’ feature to hide certain personal information from employers and recruitment agencies. We may use your information to send you details about important changes to the site or Apply4U service. Information you have not hidden will be available to employers and recruitment agencies which have contracts with us. They may contact you using any of the contact information you have submitted. It is their responsibility to abide & register with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Apply4U.co.uk has the ‘Hide Info’ feature which gives candidates the ability and control to hide certain information from the client (e.g. Full name, phone numbers, home address, email address, current employer etc.). The level of control is provided to you by your choice, if you select to hide any information your CV will not be viewable to clients.


Uploading your CV & creating your profile
You agree to our Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer when uploading your CV and profile to Apply4U.co.uk. As a candidate you should be aware that you’re CV and profile is made available for searching, viewing by us the client / agencies & third parties.

Recruiters, employment consultants & third parties (e.g. Agents) have the ability to download your CV for the purpose of potential recruitment only.

Please note that Apply4U reserves the right to remove you from our database, CVs or profiles which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive will be removed without notice.


Confidentiality of your CV & profile information
You have full control over who can view you CV and details (name, address, telephone number, email address, employment history etc), use the ‘Hide Info’ feature to select what is not visible to recruiters. Please remember if you select ‘Hide Info’ your CV will not be viewable to employers or recruiters.

Updating your CV & profile information
We rely on you to ensure that your details are kept up to date. You should update your CV & profile at least every six months, particularly if your contact details have changed.

Downloading your CV - Potential Recruiters
Recruiters, employment agencies, Recruitment websites & third parties (e.g. Agents) have the ability to download your CV for the purpose of potential recruitment only.

External recruiters are aware that they should adhere to Data Protection Act, 1998. Apply4U Limited does not accept responsibility for content or accuracy of such information. Please read their privacy policy. You must read our Disclaimer and Terms & Conditions.

The Candidate is liable to be contacted by the Employer (sometimes without intervention from Apply4U Limited)

Apply4U.co.uk does not verify the identity or nature of business of such recruiters or organistions and are not responsible for their actions. Our privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of others (external links, other employment agencies, other recruitment websites, agents etc).

Your rights under the Data Protection Act 1998
You can find information and assistance with regard to your rights under the Data Protection Act 1998 and related legislation (http://www.ico.gov.uk) Apply4U follows the principles set out in that Act when we process your personal data

You have the right to:
   - find out what information is held about you on computer and in some paper records
   - take steps to prevent your personal information being processed if the processing is likely to cause you to suffer substantial damage or substantial distress where this is unjustified
   - require that your personal data is not used to market to you products, services or ideas

Apply4U Online Recruitment Networking service
Recruiters should only use our online recruitment networking service for the sole purpose of recruitment only. This includes and is not limited to ‘Send Message’ and ‘Head hunt’ functions. Candidates should only use our online recruitment networking service for the purpose of gaining employment only. This includes and is not limited to ‘Send Message’ and ‘Apply for Job’ functions.

Apply4U E-Mail Service
Our service includes updates sent to both candidates and recruiters via email.

Opting out of Apply4U services
You can remove any of the information that Apply4U.co.uk stores about you either calling us on 0208 902 0194 or sending a email to enquiries@apply4u.co.uk requesting for removal of information. You can also delete your account by logging in and clicking on the settings tab.

Apply4U may use data to identify employment trends across Sales & Recruitment industry (e.g. salary, sector trends). This data will not be linked to any personal identifying information about our users.
